Official Rules: SIDUS AI Online Hackathon

1. Hackathon Summary

1.1. SIDUS AI (the Organizer) is hosting an online hackathon to expand its ecosystem by encouraging the development of innovative plugins (integrations) and autonomous agents. Participants are free to choose their project type, fostering creativity and providing tangible value to the open-source community.

1.2. Registration Period: October 23, 2025, at 00:00 UTC to November 9, 2025, at 23:59 UTC.

1.3. Hackathon & Submission Period: November 10, 2025, at 00:00 UTC to November 30, 2025, at 23:59 UTC.

1.4. Judging Period: Begins December 1, 2025, at 00:00 UTC. The duration will be determined by the number of eligible submissions.

2. Eligibility

2.1. Participants: The hackathon is open to individuals and teams of any size from around the world.

2.2. Age Restriction: You must be at least the age of majority in your country of residence (or at least 18 years old if the age of majority is not defined) to participate. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you must have your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to participate.

2.3. Restricted Regions & Sanctions Compliance:

2.3.1. You are not a resident of, or otherwise restricted by, any country or region under comprehensive embargo or sanctions by the United Nations.

2.3.2. You are not on any restricted party list (e.g., the UN Security Council Sanctions Lists, OFAC Specially Designated Nationals List).

3. How to Enter

3. 1. Register: During the Registration Period, join the official hackathon Telegram channel (link to be provided) to register and receive updates.

3.2. Develop: Choose one of the three development areas and build your project during the Hackathon Period.

3.3. Submit: By the end of the Submission Period, you must provide your project in accordance with its category:
  • For plugin development for the SIDUS AI Framework: submit your work as a pull request to the official public framework repository.
  • For agent development: provide links to your private GitHub repositories in the submission form and grant repository access to the SidusAI team.
The submission form link will be shared in the official Telegram channel.

4. Submission Requirements

4.1. Each submission must include:

  • Code: All source code must be open-sourced and available in a public GitHub repository.
  • README File: A comprehensive README with:
  • Project title and description.
  • Clear setup and installation instructions.
  • API documentation and usage examples.
  • Demo Video (For Agents & Special Tasks): A video demonstration (maximum 3 minutes) showcasing the functionality and user experience of your agent. (Recommended but not mandatory for Plugins). A link to the video hosted on Google Drive with “Anyone with the link” access enabled

4.2. License: The code must be published under an OSI-approved open-source license (e.g., MIT, Apache 2.0).

5. Development Areas & Prizes

5.1. Total Prize Pool: $12,000 USDT

Category 1: Integrations (Plugins)

Prize Pool: $7,000

Description:

Create plugins that connect SIDUS AI to external services (e.g., Social Media, Cloud Services, DevOps, Web3/Finance, Marketing/CRM). Prize Distribution: The prize pool will be distributed proportionally among winning entries based on the jury's scores. Each eligible plugin will receive a share of the pool weighted by its final evaluation.

Category 2: Agent Development

Prize Pool: $2,500

Description:

Create specific agents that solve real-world problems (e.g., On-chain Analytics, Finance Assistant, Trading, Education, E-commerce, Security).

Develop agents for specific partner tasks related to social media analysis, channel management, and efficiency advising for Ton Station.

5.2. All prize amounts are in USDT. The Organizer reserves the right to not award all prizes if an insufficient number of eligible submissions are received.

6. Judging Panel and Criteria

Entries will be judged by a panel of experts from the SIDUS AI core team and invited prominent experts of the industry based on the following criteria:

  • Technical Implementation: Code quality, architecture, stability, error handling, and the inclusion of tests.
  • Ecosystem Benefit: The usefulness, scalability, and potential impact of the project on the SIDUS AI ecosystem and its community.
  • Creativity & User Experience: The originality of the idea and the quality of the user experience (for agents), including the clarity of documentation and the demo video.

7. Winner Selection, Notification, and Prize Acceptance

7.1. Selection: Potential winners will be selected by the Judging Panel based on the criteria above. Decisions of the judges are final and binding.

7.2. Notification: Potential winners will be notified via the official hackathon Telegram channel and via the email address provided during registration within ten (10) days of the judges' final decision.

7.3. Prize Acceptance: As a condition to receiving a prize, potential winners may be required to: Sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and, where lawful, a Publicity Release.

7.4. Provide any necessary tax forms (e.g., W-9, W-8BEN) as required by the Organizer.

7.5. All taxes and any other costs, fees, and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of the winner. Failure to complete any required forms accurately and return them in a timely manner may result in forfeiture of the prize.

8.1. Your Rights: You retain ownership of the intellectual property you create in your submission, subject to the specific license grants and terms outlined below for each category.

8.2. Pre-Existing IP: If your submission includes pre-existing intellectual property that you do not own or have the right to use, you must identify such pre-existing IP in your submission and obtain all necessary rights and licenses for its use in the submission and as granted herein. The grants made in these rules do not apply to your pre-existing IP.

8.3. Warranty of Originality and Authority: By submitting an entry, you represent and warrant that:

8.3.1. The submission is your original work and that you own or have the necessary rights and licenses to use and grant the rights to the IP as outlined in these rules.

8.3.2. It does not violate any third party's intellectual property rights, and is otherwise free of malware and other malicious code.

8.3.3. You have obtained all necessary permissions from your team members and any contributors to submit the entry and agree to these rules.

8.4. Indemnification: You agree to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SIDUS AI, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents (the "Organizer Indemnitees") from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from any breach of your representations and warranties in these rules, or your use of any pre-existing IP in a manner that infringes a third party's rights.

8.5. Category-Specific Terms:

1. Integrations (Plugins):

All submissions must be published under a permissive, OSI-approved open-source license (e.g., MIT, Apache 2.0). By submitting a Plugin, you grant SIDUS AI and the community a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute your code in accordance with the chosen open-source license.

2. Agent Development:

Submissions for this category may be in a private repository. By submitting an Agent, you grant SIDUS AI a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, test, evaluate, and showcase your Agent within the SIDUS AI ecosystem. You retain full ownership and all other rights, including the right to commercialize your Agent, license it to others, or list it on a future SIDUS AI agent marketplace.

3. TON Station Special Tasks:

Submissions for this category must be in a private repository. By submitting an Agent for a TON Station Special Task, you agree to assign and transfer all intellectual property rights (including copyright and all other exclusive rights) for the submitted Agent to the TON Station partner-client. Upon acceptance of the prize, you will be required to sign any necessary documentation to effectuate this full transfer of rights.

8.6. GDPR Compliance: By participating, you acknowledge and agree that the personal data you provide (e.g., name, contact information) will be used by SIDUS AI solely for the purpose of administering the hackathon, evaluating submissions, and awarding prizes. Your data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and will not be sold or used for marketing purposes without your explicit consent. You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data by contacting the Organizer.

9. General Conditions

9.1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Official Rules and any disputes arising out of or related to this hackathon shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

9.2. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the hackathon for any reason. Participants agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

9.3. Participants agree not to submit any content that is infringing, illegal, obscene, threatening, or that violates the rights of others.

9.4. All prize winners are responsible for any applicable taxes on their winnings.

9.5 The Organizer is not responsible for any lost, late, or misdirected submissions, or for any technical failures.

By participating in this hackathon, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules.
